David Marcus Jere is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate governance, legal compliance, and strategic advisory roles. Currently serving as the Head Legal Officer & Company Secretary at FINCA Limited since January 2025, David provides comprehensive legal and strategic advice to the subsidiary’s management and Board of Directors.

His responsibilities include managing legal risks, overseeing banking and financial regulatory matters, ensuring compliance with FINCA’s Code of Conduct, and fostering a culture of integrity and transparency within the organization. David previously held the role of Legal Officer at FINCA Limited from June 2021 to December 2024.

David is currently studying for a Master of Business Administration in Organizational Leadership and holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) Degree from the University of Malawi (Formerly, Chancelor College).
