Hivzi Jetullahu has over 24 years of experience in the financial sector with a strong focus on corporate governance, risk, credit risk, and strategic leadership. Furthermore, Hivzi has extensive experience in regulatory compliance, internal controls, and governance reforms in partnership with central banks, MFIs, and commercial banks in the regions. Currently, Hivzi works as a Global Credit Risk Director at FINCA Impact Finance where he provides oversight and direction on credit risk governance across the network, ensuring alignment with risk appetite, regulatory requirements and internal controls.
Prior to joining FINCA, Hivzi served as Chairperson of the Credit Risk Management Committee and was a voting member of ALCO, Operational, and Risk Committees at ProCredit Bank for over 7 years. He also led the development, strengthening and implementation of corporate governance and risk management frameworks, risk policies, and compliance structures for multiple financial institutions through advisory roles at Credica LLC.
He has obtained an MA degree in Economics for Business Analysis at Staffordshire University in United Kingdom in 2004, and a ProCredit Bank’s Academy Certificate in Germany in 2010.
