Seth Benjamin Spiro was born on December 5, 1977.

He is currently Vice President and Chief Product Officer at FINCA International, where he leads global product strategy and the design of mission-aligned credit solutions that expand economic opportunity for low-income entrepreneurs across emerging markets. He oversees FINCA’s portfolio of lending products and directs the Poverty Eradication Lab, an innovation engine that incubates and pilots new financial products through human-centered design, applied research, and disciplined, stage-gated testing before scale.

With more than two decades of experience across financial services, credit unions, global microfinance, media, and nonprofits, Seth specializes in building customer-centered financial products, strengthening portfolio performance, and aligning commercial discipline with social impact.

Previously, he held senior product, marketing, and communications leadership roles at Tyndall Federal Credit Union, the American Red Cross, and Random House, driving growth, brand transformation, and digital transformation initiatives.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts from New York University and a Master of Science from the University of Maryland.
