Zichepe Namalima is an experienced IT professional with a substantiated background of working in the banking industry in both commercial and central banks. Proficient in core banking system implementations and upgrading projects as a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner. Innovative and committed core banking expert with proven record of successful end to end system implementations.

Zichepe joined FINCA Malawi in September 2023 as an IT Manager. Before joining FINCA, he has worked as systems analyst, project coordinator, T24 Senior Business Consultant on numerous projects in Zambia, Eswatini, Kenya, Rwanda, UK and Malawi. He holds a degree in Management Information Systems from Solusi University, Zimbabwe.

Zichepe has managed multi-national and multi-skilled technical teams in various banks. Before joining FINCA Malawi, he worked for National Bank of Malawi, FINCOM, Nedbank, NBS Bank, TEMENOS (Africa) Ltd and Sofgen (Africa) Ltd in several roles that include system administration, project coordination, user training, project management, consultancy and IT management
